Rialto shows Barney's Version

Zurich, 21st July, 2011

Barney's Version is the story of Barney Panofsky (Paul Giamatti, Golden Globe 2011 winner "Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy") an ordinary man who lived an extraordinary life. By telling his version of his life he takes us through the highs and far too many lows of his life. The reason Barney must tell his story now, is that his sworn enemy has just published a tell-all book about Barney's past: his shady business, the three failed marriages, and the mysterious and unsolved disappearance of his former best friend, a possible murder for which Barney remains the prime suspect. Since his memory sometimes fails him, and because he has the unfortunate habit of getting blind drunk, Barney leads us on this unsteady walk down memory lane, not only to explain his life to us, but also to explain it to himself.
