Dear reader,
In five years time, you are going to be sitting in your armchair watching the movie of your choice; browsing pictures of your next possible holiday destination with your spouse; setting your daughter's wedding movie to the orchestral sound of Ennio Morricone and taking part in your next lesson on "Modern city and brown field site development" not to mention before going to bed you will obviously read the next chapter of your Stieg Larsson e-book crime novel. All of this will be done on your flat screen - the content, of course provided, selected, dubbed and paid for via your remote control.
For this world of the future, we at THI are working today.
Central to achieving this world of the future is the knowledge of how to find the right building blocks, of how to arrange them and of how to combine them with our own solution components, in order to provide the best possible solutions and platforms for the entertainment world, which we both know and understand.
One of these worlds contains the fast growing business of transport, preparation, storing and consumption of motion pictures. An end to growth in this area is unforseeable, but a loss of control of authorship and application of the pictures definitely is; that's where our subsidiaries come in to the picture. There are countless companies that trade in motion pictures. However, those businesses either manage only those pictures they have produced themselves specifically intented for their own exploitation chain, or are limited to a particular media type. Rialto, Content Brokers and Media Packers are not limited in either fashion: they do it all.
Media Packers structures, co-produces and distributes feature films and TV series as well as advising their clients on the construction and establishment of TV stations. Rialto has been buying motion pictures rights for more than 50 years. Content Brokers digitalizes, systematizes, edits and sends digital audio-visual content for mobile, internet TV and download portals.
Our activities will deliver the entertainment possibilities of the coming 5 years, already tomorrow.
Our competitors work feverishly on the improvement of their products; but progress exists not in the improvement of what was, but in the focus on what will be. For instance that you are able to sit in a chair at home and consume multiple media forms.
